Whether you are interested in a shorter Near Shore Fishing Charter or a full blown Deep Sea Fishing Charter out of Va Beach, we are here to make your day as special and successful as possible. As the vessel owner and former US Navy carrier based combat pilot I can assure you that vessel safety and reliability are top priorities along with, of course, catching fish and having fun.

Families and novices may opt for our shorter near shore half day Family Fishing Trips  that we offer  where we target species such as Spanish mackerel, spade fish, seabass, bluefish, cobia and red drum. Species targeted will depend on availability and trip length.

Those looking for a full day fishing and up to 75+ nautical miles offshore we run Offshore Fishing Charters  targeting tuna, dolphin (mahi mahi), wahoo, white and blue marlin as well as swordfish. We also take advantage of deep drop tilefish and seabass opportunities to help fill our customer’s coolers.

If fishing is not your thing but you are looking for a relaxing sunset or porpoise cruise we can make that a reality for your group or family as well.

The FLY’N FISH is a 54 foot Custom Jim Smith equipped with twin 715hp Caterpillar Marine engines. She cruises at 26 knots and will get you to and from the fishing grounds both quickly and safely. She also boasts a large cockpit with mezzanine seating for fishing and a comfortable air conditioned salon to relax in during transit down time. If you find yourself hooked to a bruiser the cockpit also features a top of the line Release Marine fighting chair to aid in the battle.
